Dr.-Ing. Derk Jan Swider

Derk Jan Swider received the Diploma degree in energy technology from the Technische Universität Berlin, Berlin, Germany, in 2001 and the Ph.D. degree in energy economics from the Universität Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Germany, in 2006. He has been Head of the Energy Use and Energy Management Department, Institute of Energy Economics and the Rational Use of Energy, Universität Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Germany and is currently Head of the Gas Market Analysis Team, E.ON AG, Düsseldorf, Germany. His research interests focus on decision support in energy economics.
